It’s a nice and semi sunny day here in the YUL so my circus performer friend Catherine and i walked to Aux Vivres for lunch. Avoiding semi drunk college girls wearing random green elements and no coat on is almost as tricky as drivers trying to avoid nid-de-poules (pot holes) on this day in Montreal. Soft Molasses Cookies
Ingredients
3/4 Cup butter
1 Cup packed brown sugar
1/2 Cup apple sauce (i used apple/pear cause that’s all i carry, it’s delicious!)
1/2 Cup molasses
2 1/2 Cups all-purpose flour
1/2 Tsp. salt
2 Tsp. baking soda
1 Tsp. ground cinnamon
1 Tsp. ground ginger
1 Tsp. nutmeg
1 Tsp. Vanilla extract
