My brain is made of mush, alongside all these brains stuff. I believe in sustainable living not out of environmental consciousness but more so in vue of a possible apocalypse and due to my ever growing disdain for human beings.
I like the song Big in Japan by Alphaville.

This is Che. He was born and raised in a lab, for vivisection. More than 10 years ago I led a campaign to shut down experiments at the University of Texas, and negotiated with university administrators for his release. When we first got him out of the lab, he was terrified to walk on grass. He had known nothing but concrete.
Che died several days ago. It is heartbreaking to see him go. But it so much less painful knowing that, although he endured 5 years of hell, he spent 10 in the home of one of the most caring, gentle men I know.
I often look at these two photos of him to remind myself that we’d all do better to show even an ounce of the character of these animals. For me, they are a reminder to show courage even when you are too afraid to move, and to love even when you have no reason to expect anything good in return.
Rest in peace, Che.

This is beautiful. I’m so sorry for you loss, Will.

Such a poignant story. My most sincerest condolences. Thank you for giving him the life he deserved.
